Learn to articulate the muscle of the lower body and transform the chronically tight legs and hips into stronger, suppler, and more dynamic foundation. Discover how to express yourself from a powerful root system of your lower body. Yoga Foundation consists of both muscularly active and passive postures. Janya offers a wide range of asanas in sitting, kneeling, squat, prone, and supine positions. You will learn to differentiate between using the bones of the lower body and the gravity to support the muscles and using the muscles of the lower body to support the joints and bones.
Expect a balance or yin-yang practice. At the end of the workshop take a gift of the Asana Guide to deepen your practice at home. The handout of the postural sequence is included!
